Allotrope Bio raises $4.1 million in pre-Series A financing
Our Batch #1 alumnus will use the round to take its organ-conditioning gene therapy towards first-in-human studies.
Allotrope Bio has closed a $4.1 million pre-Series A round. The company develops an ex-vivo gene therapy that treats donor organs before transplantation, aiming to reduce or even eliminate the need for lifelong immunosuppression.
The financing will fund the preclinical studies required before first-in-human trials in lung transplantation, as well as key hires in manufacturing and regulatory affairs.
We supported Allotrope during our very first batch and are proud to see the team reach this milestone. It is exactly the path from lab to market our programme exists for.
