Gliacure and Myoforge nominated for a national science-breakthrough award
Two Batch #3 companies made the shortlist for this year’s breakthrough-of-the-year in start-ups.
Gliacure, which targets the stem cells behind glioblastoma recurrence, and Myoforge, which builds engineered human heart tissue for drug testing, have both been nominated in the start-up category of a national science-breakthrough award.
Nominations recognise research with the potential to change its field. Both teams will present their work to an international jury in November.
